STEEL FABRCIATOR JOB DESCRIPTION

Full Time

Rate : $25 – $35 PER HOUR

Our Innovating and growing company is seeking Steel Fabricators to join our team. This role will be filled on site at our Head Office / Factory in Waiuku, South Auckland. Applicants must have experience fitting and welding steel, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

What will you do?:

Steel Fabricator Duties and Responsibilities

In this role you will fill the days carrying out fabrication of a variety of steel designs. Reviewing drawings and specifications and the job requirements. Fabrication of steel and other metal parts according to the these requirements. Lay out cutting lines. Use measuring tools to inspect work. Fit Fabricated Steel items. Maintain tools and equipment and Maintain a safe work environment. Be happy to work in the workshop or help on site if required.

What we are looking for:

A reliable team player with a can-do attitude who has at least three years fitting and welding experience. Be a qualified / partly qualified Steel Fabricator. Completion of a technical trade program and Ability to read and understand the technical drawings. Attention to detail is key.
